MEET THE STAFF

Elder Glenda Moore was born on December 15, 1966, in Kansas City MO to the proud parents of Pastor Glenn C. & Emogene A. Nelson. She is the second oldest of four children. Glenda and her family moved to Denver, Co in 1976 when Pastor Nelson was called to be the Pastor of Jordan Chapel AME church in Denver CO. Glenda received the Lord at an early age and has been involved in ministry her full life.

She is a prodigy of the Denver Public School system. Glenda attended and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School the summer of 1985 where she met her high school sweetheart Thurman Moore and married him winter the of 1988.

After graduating, Glenda perused her education in Early Childhood Education. And now works as an Executive Household Manager.

In the year of 2004 Glenda began attending, the school of ministry at Kingdom of Faith Church. She became a licensed ordained minister and served for several years. During the year of 2013 Glenda and her husband Thurman together joined at the Power House Christian Fellowship and now serve under the leadership of Pastor Stephen & Evangelist Sonya Baker. In August of 2015 she accepted the call of Eldership at Powerhouse Christian Fellowship and with Faith Association Minister International at Faith Church. Elder Glenda Moore prays without cease, enjoys her the time spent with the Lord by sitting quiet, authentic worship, and praising God in advance while listening to the Lord speak to her heart. Elder Moore says it is all by God’s great Grace and Mercy to be blessed and to be a blessing.

Elder Glenda Dozier was born in Columbia, SC and lived there until 1990.  She later moved to Seattle, WA to raise her 3 children there.  Glenda has 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  It was a pure leap of faith when she and her children relocated to Seattle and it was only possible through the grace of God.  It was there in Seattle where she met Yvonne Williams, the First Lady of Last Day Ministry Church, who later led Glenda to Christ and through that they became very close friends.  Something that started out as 2 women having bible study turned into Glenda joining the church and giving her life to the Lord in 1993.  On Mother’s Day of 1994, she was baptized of the Holy Spirit and served in many capacities at the church.

While attending and ministering to God’s people at Last Day Ministry, Glenda served in many capacities including: Sunday School Teacher, Church Secretary and Treasurer, Armor Bearer to the Pastors and she began to walk in her path to become a Missionary.  Shortly thereafter, Glenda began working with the prison ministry at the Washington Correction Center for Women, which was founded by Chuck Colsen.  Glenda was not sure where to start with this ministry, but when she asked the Father what to say to them, he replied, tell them your life story and how I delivered you!   She served on that ministry for 13 years.

To her surprise, she moved to Denver, CO July 3, 2012 after several visits to see her family. Once all settled in Colorado, Glenda made it her mission to find a church home and she visited several churches including Power House Christian Fellowship.  It was at the conference for Women of Hope that she heard the Lord speak to her heart to join Power House.   At Power House she is on the Praise and Worship team, Board of Directors and the head of the Women’s Department.  She has also been a blessing to the Power Zone youth ministry when needed.  She often shares what a privilege it is and how honored she is to be doing God’s work for the Kingdom!  One of her favorite scriptures is Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto Salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first and also to the Greek”.
